A January 2026 public-private partnership placed a 2018 Bell 505 Jet Ranger X with the Flagler County Sheriff's Office. Dan Newlin personally contributed $720,000 toward the aircraft and an additional $30,000 in support equipment; the official release distinguishes the contribution from the law firm.
Unlike a single relief flight, the contribution created an enduring aviation capability intended for search and rescue, maritime searches, missing-person cases, law-enforcement support, and emergency patient transport. Its value is measured through continuing public service.
