The mission

Turning available resources into immediate help

Hurricane Melissa made catastrophic Category 5 landfall in Jamaica on October 28, 2025. As damage assessments began and airports reopened for humanitarian operations, Dan Newlin partnered with Grammy Award-winning artist Shaggy to help move critical supplies into the country.

Public reporting documented two private-jet relief flights arriving on October 30, with additional missions planned. The effort delivered water, medicine donated by local physicians, flashlights, and other essentials. Coordination focused on identified needs from hospitals in Kingston and Montego Bay and on reaching heavily affected communities through faith-based and community organizations.

A continuing commitment

Success is most meaningful when it can be used to serve others.

The Jamaica mission reflects a broader principle: donate more than funds. Donate attention, professional skill, time, access, equipment, and the ability to move quickly.
